I have a 1991 Buick Regal, and it just started acting up!?

When I start it up, the engine lopes a little, also once the car runs for about 10 minutes, it will not start again, until the engine cools off. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? I want only answers from qualified mechanics, please. I know the car needs a tune-up desperately, but am unable to afford it right now.

check your freeze plugs

Try checking the coils, those will cause what you are trying to explain what is happening.
