...operating temp.,and? turned off it will not start. after a period of a hour or so it will start. something is over heating and when it cools down it will start again . anybody have any ideas what it might be. i have a new starter and battery. thanks for your help
 
Sometimes a crank sensor can act this way. When it heats up, the voltage changes and so does the signal. You should invest in a check-up at the Toyota dealer, since this is NOT an OBD II engine.
