it is a 1989 dodge ram with a 318 in it throttle body carburetor runs fine when idling but when u Driving it hard but when going slow it wants to flood rely bad any ideals on what it could be?
You have some sort of obstruction in the fuel return line. Take the line loose at the t'body and remove the fuel cap. With a rubber tipped blow gun and air hose pop a couple of shots of air through it. Replace the fuel cap and hook the line back up start engine and check for leaks.
If you still have a problem make sure the line hasn't gotten mashed over the years.
