iv been fixing up my honda she ran sweet as could be just needed painting the frame,engin ect so its been in bits for a while. iv just got the engin back in wired every thing up and a wire broke from rot on the regulators plug on the wire harnes side i fixed it fuled up turned her over an nothing. i started to check my plugs ect all nice and tight no lose wires every thing is earthed as shuld be so i check both my ecu as far as looking at them? lol then i checked ther plugs an as far as i no thers no power being sent to them? my coils are powered up tho and every thing else electric works
any one now what i can try ? thanks. she was sound engine/electric wise just cosmetics and the back suspention being stuck?
its a honda cb 125 tdc superdream delux. thers no kill switch i think its to old to have one?
all the conections in the ecu plugs are fine so are all the ignition plug ect in the headlight the plugs from the engin are also clean.

id does not have contact points. thats were a cam pushes open little pads that open and shut sending a spark to the plugs arnt thay?the older cb had them. mine has electronic censors that a raised bit on the fly weel goes past making the ecu's tell the coil to spark or someting like that. and thay are fine as far as i no coz thers no inspection plate.
iv cleaned the earth on my coils again thay had rusted alittle since i first did it but still no spark. iv just read on a web site thing were some one had bloged about ther restoration that nothing electrical to run the engin powers up until the engin is turned over by the starter seamed a little odd to me. i pondered for a while and thought what if the cdi ect dont now its starting so on a whim i put a geni cover of my spares engin and got a ruddy good spark?. now im pondering what in the cover is faulty and why since it was working before i painted it?
