first never pull th ecable while running thro that once was great way of checking now it can burn out something eletronic and yes battery is bad but really easy to drive to any shop or parts store and ask them to check charging system which most dont charge anything for then you know for sure which it is and dont cost you a few bucks guessing but most likely battery

dash lights do go dim? and once i shut the engine off it wont start without a jump i pulld the cable of the battery well it was running and it did not stall the battery looks small is this a dead battery or somthing els>?

battery may have a weak or dead cell in it. LOL my car wouldnt start today may be time for a new battery,it was only 18 degrees out should of started right up, charged it and it seems well now but i know I need a new one

It may be the battery depending on how old it is or it could be the alternator. If the battery is wore out it will not hold a charge, and if the alternator is not putting out a good charge it wont charge the battery.Take the battery and have a load test done on it if it checks out to be good then it's most likely the charging system but that to is easy to check.

I think your battery is soon to be toast. I notice a lot of frozen batteries lately. Bring it in the house and or put a charger on it.
