I have replaced the alternator, and battery with new. It is now running great, charging correctly however the battery light will not turn off.

Is there some switch or something I need to do to reset this light?

Please advise.
Thanks,

After all adjustments were made, the volts are reading now at 14.1 when reving the motor and when the lights are on it reads like 13.6 and the battery was 12.5 prior to installation.

Will clean the terminals, check ignition and try a differnt battery then follow up.

Please advise if there is any other sugguestions.

when the battery was replaced the terminals were not cleaned.. this light indicates that the battery needs a charge.. or the altimator is bad no charging.. remove the battery terminas clean inside and the batttery posts also and reinstall the light should now turn off to check the condition of the altinator after cleaning the terminals.. start the engine and turn on the dome light. with the engne idelying... step on the gas with the dome light on.. it should brighten a little until you relaese the accellerator.. if it does not the alternator is no good ok

try turning the key on and off slowly 5 times, this will reset the computer, if the light still stays on , the alternator might be bad, new ones can do this, even if you just got a new one it can be bad right out of the box, the ignition switch could also have a problem, while the engine is running wiggle the key a little bit without turning it off, and see if the light blinks or goes off,
