help? i have changed the gas filter,checked vacuum lines i hope! changed the coil don`t know were to look next. Erny help i will try.thank`s allot. jeff! or maybe a good web site have a book but trouble shotter don`t awnser that.
 
Couldn't venture more than a guess with no more information than provided. This model of auto around this year was bad to have the intake manifold loosen from the head. A vacuum leak is the result and the vehicle runs somewhat like you describe. 10w40 sprayed around the intake area will result in the engine speeding up considerable if a leak is present. Usually tightening the intake bolt will then fix it.
 
well the car is 30 years old

i would say its the MAF, but i dont even think cars had that back then
