1969 Mercedes Benz has been breaking down on me. I'm a college student and classes are about to start. A day after I took the car to the shop I stopped driving it because it was still doing the same thing (accelerating slow). 2 weeks later I start it up to take it back to the shop and it drives just fine. !!! It keeps doing this to me. Now the mechanic wont be able to look at it because the problem suddenly disappeared. Again. I really like how it drives (when it drives): 6 cylinder engine, tons of horsepower, amazingly great on gas BUT soo many miles that the odometer has started over again. I love the power of this car but I only have $2,500 left in my account for car maintenance. Should I just get another car and if so do you know of any fast, but powerfull used cheap cars out there? My budget is a little flexible. I was thinking about the 1994 Mazda Miata but it's a 4 cylinder engine! I want something that's fast and powerfull.
