i want to know if i can keep a breeding pair of oscars in my new fish tank if i can what suitable tank mates are there that i can keep in with them my tank has a 510mm base and is 750mm tall would this be suitable to house them ??
can i keep just 1 oscar in it and with what other fish

It's too small for Oscars full stop, regardless of whether you keep them in pairs or singly. You need a minimum of a 120 x 46 x 46cm tank for one of these fish.

It's too small for an adult pair of Oscars, you need over 280-300 litres for a pair. A 195L is likely to be too narrow for these big fish and not allow for the pair to get away from each other if need be.
