i have a 1000 watt amp hooked up in my car right now but my lights dim?

i have a 1000 watt amp hooked up in my car right now but my headlights will dim whenever i have my subs on. but would getting a capacitor help not do make my lights dim b/c i was wanting to get another amp but idk if my car could handle it. but if i get a capaciter would it help for my lights not to do that and if it does would it be good enough for my car to have another amp???

u need a bigger battery. for another amp look into more powerful alternator. UNless it won;t be much. like 300w
