...worth anything? I have USB, printer cables, ac-dc adapters of all kinds, modems, wires, coax, coax splitters, speakers, microphones, earphones, 3-prong tv-dvd cables...

is it better to just give them away or are they worth the hassle of selling on craigslist?

old wireless phone systems, tv remotes...

desk top computer power cords, tv antenna wire

The "green" thing to do would be to sell them or give them to someone who can use them. We have to think of our landfills first you know; otherwise, the government may tax our trash.

if you donate them to a thrift store get a receipt you could get a write off on next years income tax rebate if you file the proper form. I have been volunteering at a thrift store since 2004 and we take many kinds of items like what you are listing. Sure it is a long wait but it is far easier to have someone else sell the items for you than to go through the hassle yourself and you are supporting a charity of your choice
