i have 2000 dollars and im looking for a car... any suggestions?

Ive been saving for a couple of months now and i just wanted to get a couple good opinions about my first car. I have almost 2500 dollars and I know that would probably be a good down payment but unfortunately i don't know much about cars. I have a couple main questions that i need answered:
1. Should I buy used, new, or from a private dealer
2. What defects should I look for
3. What kind of Warranty should I expect (If any)
4. Should i save more money and if so how much

Any positive input from adults would be greatly appreciated thank you.
 
i would buy a 1994 Toyota 4runner like that load of bull sand who needs a water pump for it.. it should last you at least a few months and you will dump well over 2000 into it for the few months you own the load of bull sand..... enjoy the load of junk while you have it
