I have 2 orion HCCA 15.4 subs, which would be better a sealed box ported, or vented?

The subs specs are 1.9 - 2.5 cub ft. for a sealed box, and 3.5 cub ft. for a ported box. I just want to know what would be the best way to go. Also the amp I have is 1000w rms at 4ohms the subs are 2000w rms will this one amp be powerful enough?
 
the vented box would be significantly louder, i would do the vented not ported, personally i think theirs less chance for port noise using a slot vent..........are the subs Dual Voice Coil? if they are not you will be running the amp at 2ohm mono?........let me know more about the subs and i can tell u more about if u need another amp
