i have 2 L7 15's dual 2 ohm...What amp would be best kicker 1500.1 or the 2500.1?

if i got the 1500.1 would i have to have the gain all the way up...If so would the 2500.1 be better cause i wouldn't have to have the gain that high and the amp shouldn't stress as much..I went and blew money on a power acoustick 5500.1 and its trash so im tryin to find the best fit before i spend more
