i have 2 12inch kicker subs and a 1000 watt amp but i have no sound from the subs

the amp is on and? the green light is on and stays on but no sound and i know the amp and subs are fine could it be the wiring(rca or remote) that would cause it or could it be the head unit? thanks
 
Tri T, I really doubt that your an install tech, if you are you much work at best buy; and your answer is probly why because you have no clue to what the hell your talking about.

Remove the sub from the box and check the wiring of your voice coils, they might be wired back wards. Also check all wiring of all and any speaker wire from the amp to the sub. The last thing you will need to check is the rca wires from the stereo to your amp. Make sure they are plugged in all the way.
 
mAYBE ITS DISCONNECTED I HAVE THE SAME THING AND THE WIRE CONNECTED TO THE SPEAKER WAS JUST FALLING SO I PLUGGED IT BACK IN AND IT WORKED
