I have 2 12" Kicker CompVR subs: What Is the correct amp output for them?

I have two 12" Kicker CompVR subs in a ported box of correct size. Each sub has a 800 watt peak power and a 400 watts RMS output. If I were to hook up one amp to both subs, then what would be the correct specifications?
