I brought my Cirrus over a year ago with about 150,000 miles on it. I recently seen the battery light on the dashboard come on for 15 minutes and then go off. I haven't seen if for a few days but now when I'm sitting idle at a stop light the oil light comes on, only when im sitting idle and goes off when I accelerate. What do you think the problem is? I check the oil stick and it's fine. Also I haven't gave it a tune up since I've had it.

Could be a loose belt so check to see if any belts are loose especially the alternator belt , also it could be that your alternator is going , best to have a free charging system check performed by a reliable shop.
Don't panic bec I don't think it's anything serious really and it might be a good idea to have the fuel filter changed and have the air filter and PCV valve checked too.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way a corroded connection on the battery or starter or alternator post can cause that same problem or a bad engine block ground or ground wire to the chassis. You can clean these by using a small wire brush and all you need is a few basic tools too.
