I just want to rant about this stupid way of selling Blurays!!!
It seems at times that there is no other buying option, but to pay out for the triple play version.
Fine for some

they do tend to be cheaper without the extra downloaded and dvd version.

cheers for the info of Predators. I may just pay 10 squid more and get the trilogy version. At least i will then have Predator and P2 on bluray then (even though i have the dvd version of them)

How To train your dragon, the only version on BD is the triple/double play edition...priced at 17.99

I do like this one. but that price is terrible.

may have to wait till its budget or just get the dvd for my niece for Christmas and watch it again with her which will sustain my need to see for a couple of months!!

aye - i can see it handy for some. I have a friend with disabilities who watches films on an ipad in bed when she is having a bad day.
But my gripe is, I just wish there was an option of buying the bluray as a standalone which they normally do. Its just lately every film is like this and isnt available as a standalone anymore. therefore the price shoots up!

You would be wrong about most new releases.
Big titles like the Disney films and other blockbuster stuff might hit the

I don't understand it i mean if you buy blu rays you buy it because you have the blu ray player you dont a blu ray for the DVD

The bonus dvd is often useful for watching the content elsewhere in places you don't have a Bluray player.

Disney are the best example where the dvd is useful for lettings kiRAB watch the film on their dvd player upstairs.

Yes - I can see the triple package being of some use to folks, but I dont want the extra cost because I care not for it on dvd and digital download. And most releases used to come as a triple play and standalone - but not really anymore. Meaning, if I want a film, I have to buy the whole package. there isnt a choice anymore :(
If feels like a big con. the package adRAB 3-4 quid to the cost of normal blurays. which isnt really a bargain when you dont care for the extra additions.

I have pre orderd Beauty and the Beast on blu - ray triple disc. I dont have a blu ray player yet, unless you count on the ps3 but thats not hooked up to a hd tv. I will at some point change this so having the film on blu ray ready is a great thing for me. I dont know if ill do it for all films, but as its my fave Disney film i dont mind.
