From what I've heard, Sony is starting to make their amplifiers and other products with better quality. I'm going to be powering two of these subs with it @ 2 ohms: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4243_Alpine+SWR-1222D+-TYPE+R-.html
Also, is this right to run the amp and subs @ 2 ohms? Like this diagram: http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_2-ohm_mono.jpg
but, most of all is this a good amp?
