I hate the media? News, radio music, jersey shore?

Everything from the news, to radio music (most of it like the pop music and fake hip hop) , and tv shows like jersey shore
Im 18 but i notice how its negativeky impacting the younger generation and i can honestly say it influences alot of people to drink/smoke/party and especially have sex. Sometimes i wonder if they are trying to kill us all slowly. Is this schizophrenic behavior or is there some truth to this?
 
Everybody is always blaming my generation that it's our fault we rebel and its all just peer pressure. Well I think you're entirely right, all the way down to the news. That hurricane that just came through was highly exaggerated in certain areas. The news made people freak out, some for no reason at all. Most places just got thunder storms and wind. Jersey shore is one of the stupidest shows I've ever seen. After 10 minutes I was banging my head against the wall because the people are so idiotic. & I think Facebook involves alot of teens time too. I don't have one but people are constantly updating their status with everything they do. Is there ever a time they're not online? The media is overrated and likes to exaggerate. I understand you completely.
