The people that whine about hunters killing animals. They think we are barbaric for doing it. I say hec no we are not barbaric. We hunters try to make the kill as quick as possible. We take head shots, and shots to vital organs to take them out as quick and cleanly as possible. The people that whine about us just ticks me off. I say shut the hell up and get off the hunting section. I agree is cruel to test stuff on animals. But this is not what hunting is about. When the animal is suffering do we let it bleed to death? No we put it out of its pain by one shot to the head. We don't make the animal suffer instead we control the population of the animals. Don't you complain and call me a barbaric jerk. If you don't like this just click out of the question and move on i don't want to hear you're whine. So any other hunters feed up with the whine want to coment?

But I say hunt when necessary!
If you have a fully stocked fridge of Wal-mart food there is no need to go outside and waste a moose!
If you do it for a living its ok!
Also I am not a hippie,I am a duck hunter(very popular up in the north)
But I think certain species like the Mexican Black Bear are dying off and hunting them needs to cease until there is enough of them to hunt for recreation.

I don't know. I personally enjoy those peoples emotionally based opinions and flawed logic to be ripped to shreds by us and our bringing up of reality. The most they can do is "reasoned discourse" by deleting their question.

And if our bringing up of facts, statistics, and our environmental reasons and ethics and they still have the sme opinion they are never going to be driven by anything more than flawed emotion. Which is why they come here in the first place. They honestly think they know more about hunting and guns and crime rates than we do.

Why let it bother you? I look at it as an opportunity to have some fun. In a way, I'm grateful to all the PETA, seal lovers, and Bambi activists for making things a little more lively here. I mean, things get a little monotonous here with all of the "what is better .45 or 9mm?" or "what handgun should I buy?" or "what is better, .30-06 or .270?" questions.
Our great country was founded on principles of free speech and discourse, so we should be willing to talk to all the pinheads who have opinions about putting human kind in a secondary postion on the foodchain. Of course these folks would probably be the first ones to go cannibal if they found themselves in a crisis situation since they wouldn't know the first thing about survival without a foodcourt or a Safeway, but that's besides the point. We should embrace them for the sake of.... whatever they should be embraced for.
