i hate cats

I live with 10 cats. I really hate all of them. Cats are spiteful, dominant, piss ridden creatures. Every day that i live in this home i grow more and more hateful towards cats. Today i wake up and my cat is kind of humping me (marking me) in my sleep. Whats wrong with him? how do i get him to stop pissing on the counter and in the sink and marking things? how do i cure his little dominance problem? Don't tell me to get rid of any of them. I live with people only two of them are mine. I would find my two new homes if my boyfriend would let me.
 
I have three cats and when I move, they like to pee on my shit. When my boyfriend was here, they pissed on him, lol.

My older female cat kept pissing and shitting on my "new" couch. I put food where she was going and she doesn't go there anymore, even now that I have moved the food.

So the only thing that's really worked for me is putting their food where they're going. They won't piss where their food is.

WRONG!!!! You would think that works. However, the fucknit cats here piss right on the counter next to their food. One pissing sets them all off too. i guess its instinct to have their scent on things?
 
It IS their instinct. However, TEN fucking cats in one house? Not only is that not humane, but it's fucking filthy and unhealthy for you and the cats.

I had four cats in my two bedroom apartment at one point (I was cat sitting for my best friend). Her cat ruined ALL of my shit. I was getting to the point where I hated cats too. It was like a fucking daycare. Cleaning up piss and breaking up fights. Ugh.

Also, if the cats are fixed BEFORE they start spraying in the first place, they likely will NEVER spray.

Maybe you should move...or call the fucking human society.
 
its not my house, nor are they my cats. nothing i can do about it. i think im going to try and convince my b/f we should let our two cats out but if we do that then they can get flees and bring it to the rest of the animals and then we get in trouble. have i said how much i hate cats yet?

the cats have all been fixed since kittens. well most of them. if they werent rescues, not sure when they were all fixed.

working on moving. its expensive though :**(

the cats are taken care of. there are enough rooms in this house where ten cats can exist. no reason to call the humane society. not all of them do it. im only concerned about my asshole cat that i caught doing odd things to me in my sleep. god i wish i could give him away.
 
I was hanging out with my exgirlfriend one day, left the windows to my car down, came out 4 hours later to go home...

And I knew that smell.

A damn cat had relieved itself right in the driver's seat. :mad:

I hate cats. Love dogs, though.

She broke her leg... she was sad, and she was crying all afternoon because they had just reset it so I spent the whole afternoon with her and fell asleep...

The problem is you have TEN cats. They're obviously going to be territorial with that many other cats in the house. The fact that they all come from other homes makes it worse.

And 10 cats in one house is fucking DISGUSTING. Of course they're pissing everywhere! Did you ever think that maybe the cats are unhappy that there are so many of them?
 
Icka, this might not be fixable. Once a cat starts spraying, it's really hard to get them to stop.

First, you need to make sure they're all healthy, if there are bladder infections running rampant, then that will cause the cats to piss everywhere.

Then, there are a couple of things to try.

1. Some cats need their own space to go to the bathroom. Give them each their own litter box. (I know it's a lot, but 9 times out of 10 it will solve your problem)

2. Buy a cage and retrain them. Cats will not piss where they sleep. (unless it's a medical condition) so you keep them in a cage, with food, and a litter box. This should go on for a week.

If neither of these fix your problem, then I'm sorry, you'll either have to learn to deal with it, or get rid of them.

I refuse to have any more pets, because of issues like this. I don't have the patience anymore.
 
My cat would change your opinion completely.

She's so cute and small and sweet.

Yesterday she begged me to pick her up, so I did, and the instant I did she started purring. Draped herself over my chest oh so loving. I sat down and watched The Daily Show as she slept on me, totally draped over me, in love with me.

You must have some seriously shitty cats. I've known only one cat who I thought was a total asshole.
 
The only idea I have that has not already been previously mentioned is to get one of the trickeling water cat fountains. I lived with a cat who did this because he was not getting enough water. He may not like drinking from a bowl that other cats have used. This might solve that problem. If he has a urinary tract infection you can get medicated food for that. Otherwise he's just pissed of and needs some space to himself. Letting him outside might be a good option just get some flea stuff to put on the back of his neck...that seems to work.

I love kitties. Mine is getting very old and odd (more than usual). She's starting to be a pain in the butt and I'm afraid it might be time to put her down soon. I can't get another one because of my bf and my allergies...I'm going to be so very sad :sad:
