I HATE being cold.

Hiya! (:

I'd rather have to put clothes on so I looked like the little brother on "A Christmas Story" than sweat my balls off on a black roof in 96

Where I live, we have every season. It's been a warm winter, the lowest it's been was in November/December at 20 f . It hasn't snowed unfortunatly this year. The highs here are in July at around 70-90.

I went swimming this morning. The pool was heated but the air outside was pretty chilly. Soreness ensued from doing laps. I was aching in places I didn't know I had places! However, as soon as I got out, the freezing-my-ass-off sensation hit me so hard, I forgot all about my sore muscles!

Cold is having shitty gear and having to stay out for a week at a time throughout an Iraqi winter. Funny thing about winter in Iraq.....it happens to coincide with their rainy season.
I went to a war in the hottest place in the world to be colder than I've ever been and the thing that scared us most wasn't getting shot...it was getting rained on! :D
Cold is cold, but it's FUCKING cold when you're cruising around the desert towns in 0 degrees, your hummer heating system is jacked, and you're the guy with his upper torso half sticking out of the top of the damn thing manning the up-gun having to clear ice off your face every hour or two.
Cold is conducting heliborne raids on towns 2 hours away at 2 in the morning when it's 10 degrees on the ground. Sitting in the back of a damn CH-46 with hardly any warming layers on (because you hit the ground running, and running hard) and enjoying the nice cool breeze coming through the gunner's bays and shooting right out of the rear hatch..

Hahaha...yeah, SOME people DO know what cold is! :snowman:
Yep, I'm with leehype...rotor wash in sub-zero temps is cold as shit.

Cold is...

We just got 2 feet of snow dropped on us in the last couple weeks, that makes ot around 3' to 3' 6" of snow on the ground right now. It was about -8 degrees a week ago and now it's in the 20's. There was a snow storm yesterday which dumped about half a foot here. Another snow storm tomorrow night supposeto get around another half a foot here, rain in boise. There's been heavy snow storm warnings left and right for the past 2-3 weeks.

It's been hella cold here and alot of snow plus it is currently snowing and it says about 25 degrees on our thermometer. Of course we live in the mountains so we expect this...

I prefer the cold weather over the hot. I've been to Canada and experienced -30 celsius and yes it is fucking cold and unpleasent BUT I really, really hate the heat. It just drains you of all your energy.

I rather be cold too, people know me as the guy in his boxers walking around in 10 degree weather. But I got sick by doing that and I had a fever of a 105, something I won't do again.

Plus I pass out in weather over a hundred degrees, I just can't handle heat as well as I can the cold..

Hey...can I just ask a question...it was a girl who started this thread...

How come every time I talk to a girl, it seems like she's always cold? Maybe not even just her whole body, but just her feet or toes are cold or something. Is there a reason for that?
