I had my surgery yesterday....

...and am virtually pain free! Except for some soreness at the incision site, I feel great! I did some walking around the yard today and just felt like crying happy tears. It has been so long since I could walk that long without grimacing in pain.
I had the lurabar microdiskectomy and laminectomy.
Praying that each of you here that are having pain will soon have pain-free days!!!

When I think the pain is neverending I will think of you and stay hopeful!!!

That's fantastic! The one "good" thing about chronic pain is that when it finally stops, you realize how glorious it is to not hurt! You'll never take it for granted!

Be careful and don't overdo it. You still have some healing to do.
