I had my car stereo stolen and I saw it on craigslist?

Been looking around and it's exactly alike. My stereo was stolen Friday night 5/21/2010 (going to be Saturday) between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. Now I see it was posted Saturday 5/22/2010 at 12:01 p.m. Is there anything I can do? Thanks
 
Usually the police would take this sort of thing pretty seriously. Of course, I would see about making absolutely SURE it is your stuff.

If you have the information for your own stereo, such as the serial number, contact the police and as what they suggest that you do? The serial number is on the paperwork that came with it. Contact the seller so that they don't sell it until you talk to the police.
