I had my B Strep test done last week...I am hoping everything is ok?

I had my B Strep test done last week and forgot to ask the Doctor this week ( yesterday) about my test results....She did not tell me..so Could this mean the test results are negative..I don't see her just forgetting some thing so important..
 
I was never told anything either. No news is good news in this case. If she didn't bring it up, it isn't a problem. If you were positive your OB would have taken immedicate measures. Don't worry. If you are still worried Monday, call and make sure. It can't hurt to double check to put your mind at ease. Good luck!
 
I'm sure they would have mentioned it if you had it. I tested positive for it and they called me within a few days. if you do have it, they will just give you antibiotics through an IV. It is really important to get the antibiotics if you do have it, it can cause serious health problems and even blindness to the baby if born naturally. I'm sure everything is alright since they never mentioned it to you, so I wouldn't worry too much! congrats on the baby
 
No telling. But I refuse to see how it's so important. I refused to get tested for it at all, because they didn't start that stuff till my third child. I told them, "Look, I did fine with no B Strep test the last two times. If I let you test me, and it turns out that somehow I have a little stupid B Strep, you're going to hook me to an IV and fill my poor body with ridiculous antibiotics that will eventually really just produce a stronger strain of B Strep. So why in the world would I do that? Go through all that trouble to worry about some little bug that we didn't give a hoot about yesterday?" I never found out, baby came out fine. .....
