I had a case dismissed by the judge for the plaintiff not showing up now

Unfortunately she can. The case was dismissed for her lack of appearance however she can and did ask the court to reopen it probably using an excuse for not showing up. The court usually will grant her request as they must give all party's every chance to resolve it. It happened to me but the second time the plaintiff didn't show up and this time the case was completely thrown out. Good luck.BTW.You may have a chance to have your case thrown out if you can give a good enough reason not to have it heard again.Appeal it.

she is trying to sue again for same? I went to court the latter part of Nov as a defendant in a civil case. I was the only one to show up the plaintiff did not show nor her lawyer. There was no continuance they were suppose to have been there. The judge dismissed the case in my favor. Now I just got another summons to appear in court over the same thing. Same case # same reasons!
This time it is set for January, after it was dismissed once how can she do this again? She is trying to scam money!
