investigation? what should I do....? I am a private hire minicab driver ...I recently had a car accident in September 09 in the city of London. It was my first accident in 15 years of driving. And I took a claim against the third party. The third party did not claim because he admitted that it was his fault. In the accident, he took a U-turn in the middle of the road. The road had a speed limit of 30mph . The third party insurance company supplied me with a car for a month, and after that the hire company called me to take it back as the third party insurance company did not want me to have it anymore. When i asked my claim company, why they took the vehicle back, they said that my case was under investigation.
Basically I had an accidennt and now the insurace company are doing injustice with me and this is not fair. But I don't know where to go for help. If this takes lots of months and months.... is there anywhere I can complain or do anything about it.
What should I do now.... and what is likely to happen... If anyone knows what I can do (get a solicitor ; any other company etc.) please let me know as soon as possible or if you have been through something similiiar, can you please tell me what happened in your situation.
