Let's clarify:
Did you have your money IN Lehman, which means you owned its stock? If you did, the bankruptcy wiped out most, if not all, of the stock's value, and you're out of luck.
If you had your money WITH Lehman, which means they were the brokerage house that handled your portfolio, be it mutual funds, individual stocks or some other investment vehicle, you are fine. That money is yours, not Lehman's, and Lehman's creditors cannot touch it.
