I got offered a TV show, but don't want to end up like Jon and Kate Gosselin!?

Okay, so the other day I got a call from a TV channel asking me if I wanted to do a TV show. It's not TLC, they are not trying to replace Jon and kate plus 8 with me, but they said they are "interested" in my family and life. For those who don't who I am a SAHM, with twins and quadruplets. I mean, we don't need the money, or the memories, we have a video camera and I am content with my life, but it may bring More opportunities for my kids. I really don't want to end up like Jon and Kate gosselin, for their awful mess. My husband and I have been talking about it, but I wanted to ask the public opinion. Do you think I should take it. The only reason I would do it is for more opportunities for my kids, but i'm not sure. What do you think?

Remember, they're going to edit it to paint you however they want you all to look. Would you be prepared to be completely misrepresented for the world to judge? And your spouse? And your children?

If you feel comfortable with it and if you believe it will help your children with more opportunites then I say go for it. But if you really don't feel comfortable with it then I wouldn't. Maybe you can see if you can try it for a little while and if you are comfortable keep going but if not then just be like thanks but no thanks. I think you should go for whatever you are comfortable with no one is going to think any less of you if you say no. I hope this helps you but in the end it is your and your husband's decision and remember its going to effect your children so maybe family discussion? Depends how old your kids are. If they are too young then you are going to have to explain everything to them if you say yes.
