I got my sprint phone stolen yesterday?

I don't know about sprint, but Verizon has on their website all kinds of info and options. Anyway, when my son lost his phone, I just went on-line and temporarily deactivated his phone. Maybe you should check on Sprint's site if yours is really deactivated. It sounds to me like you only deactivated your voice-mail.
Also, yes you should have told the cops, because then your insurance on the car may kick in and pay your deductible on the phone insurance.

My Samsung phone was stolen from my car yesterday at my work and today I call the sprint store to deactivate it. The business hours are 11a to 5p on Sunday but the automated voice answering machine picked up and so I punched in the choice that said restaintment on a phone and so I did. It said that my voice mail is disable and that I will still get billed normally as usual the only thing now is that I don't have a phone. But I have insurance on my plan so I'll get my phone back eventually. Also, it said for me to complete the phone claim thing online cause I got insurance on my plan so I guess I'll do that but my question is this; since the automated answering machine said that the voice mail is disable, does that also mean that whoever took my phone can't call anyone or text anyone right? And should I file a police report? The phone was in my car and the must off broken in. I believe that's a crime right?
