methotrexate shot tommorow. Any Advice? Today should have worked out differntly. It was my first ultrasound and we were packed and ready to go to Florida to spend time with family. So now, instead of driving I am back home waiting for their phone call tommorow.

I am 6 weeks 3 days. They did not see a sac in the uterus. He did see something around the fallopian tube. So, they tool blood to make sure.

Any support advice will be so appreciated. How do I tell my family and friends? Does the shot of chemo hurt? What can I expect?

I am so sorry to hear this. I was in the ER today for close to the same thing. I will find out more tomorrow. They didnt see anything in my uterus either but my HCG levels are too low which makes my doc think that I am in the beginning stages rather than a miscarraige. I have been laying here thinking of about how I would tell my fam also. My sister had a good thing to keep in mind. If you can have a tubal pregnancy or a miscarraige.. that just means you CAN get pregnant at least. I know it will be rough at first but it WILL happen. Good luck and I am sorry about your painful news.
