i got an 86 ford ranger and anna put bout 30" tires on. how much will it cost?

Better get an extra gas tank for it at the same time cuz your going to get about 5mpg, until you blow the motor for all the extra work it's gotta do. Hope you got a good job, and no bills.

30's aren't a big deal for a Ranger. The FX4's come with 31's stock. It's a 2WD you'll need a leveling lift. You may be able to just a use small 1 or 2 inch body lift.

30 inch tires are a bit big for a Ranger. Not that it would look bad but the engine will have trouble turning that much mass. A 3"lift should more than take care of that and you may want to either extend the front bumper out a inch or so OR trim the trailing edge a little to keep tires off of it.

If you are going to go that large on that small of a truck, May I suggest a local racing shop to get a replacement set of differential gears to ease the load on the engine and tranny.

Wheel prices as well as tire prices vary according to your desires. That is something hard to estimate but basic tires that size will run about $125.00 each X 4 Plus rims and mounting and balance. Could be six hundred bucks could be 5 thousand bucks.
