i got a visio wireless 5.1 home theater system from a friend but need help?

i got this from my moms friend and i believe it might be for only vizio flat screens but its missing something, a transmitter card because its wireless, with that transmitter card can you use this on a regular tv, and if so where could i buy a transmitter card at for cheap, like best buy, radioshack, etc. the hole system is called a vizio jive wireless dolby 5.1channel surround sound. thanks
