I got a virgin mobile slice for free....its brand new

i want to get it on cricket.....since ive never meesed with virgin mobile flashing to cricket does anybody know how ?
 
virgin does have some pretty mean phones for the price seems like its compatible, but a friend told me those were blocked.. maybe similar to verizons inpulse? anyways well i saw in a thread some guy uploading original v3 cricket firmware never tried but am thinking if u could do it on like inpulse probly something similar for virgin and their remix version could be as easy as changing prls well just giving ideas im stuck on a 6600 right now good luck :buddies:
 
if you have a cdma com box and INFOSOFT PST locate the UT STARCOM DLL use the slider se47 cable with the com box load up INFOSOFT PST select the starcom dll so that the phone can be requinized then locat EASYCDMA download it install it close infosoft open easycdma choose com port the phone is one browse the EFS look for nvm security delete or rename the file names restart the phone it will freeze the first time pull the battery turn it back on now the spc is all 00000 now load the prl following the instructions using infosoft to requnize the phone then QPST to load prl enjoy

note doesnt work with all the slices the new ones are more protected try and find out if yours is supported
 
omg amoamare where does he get these things, call the jewler--- he just made another gem, gonna have to check this out and btw.... found on another forum, that softwares available in http://www.cdma-ware.com/ anyone know how to tell which version that is? thats a pretty mean little phone hot! well off to sleep for now let us know if u can crack that thing
 
Bring it to Page North 602 N. State st 473.6191 we have slices for sale already flashed over and can send yours out to be flashed if you choose
 
has anyone figured out how to do this? a friend of mine found a slice at the club where he works and i want to see if itll work with cricket. any instructions on how to flash it over?
 
where is that at???? whats the price on those? i gave up on tryin to flash a 6600 and im stuck with the first slyder from verizon omg it sucks...

wow.... well i will tell you the whole reason i bought it was because everyone on here seems to make it sound so easy, well i put in the prl EVDO update file, (recently heard on hofo something bout needing one specifically from my-el paso- market?) well i have it set to

how could i know if SPL is locked unlocked? what to do? someone on another thread just suggested this

if it helps my antenna shows 3 scrolling suspense dots

i try to do ota programming for el paso using the 822804 a friend uses to flash all sorts of other verizon phones and nothing, thats my phone in a nutshell any help u can give will be appreciated im on the old slider phone textings a nightmare...

btw since were on this thread... how gooRAB the t9 on a slice? what about sending pics if you did flash it to cricket?

fast busy?? mm well if ur talking about like the dialtone kinda thing nope, it just kinda hangs there tryin to connect and like i said instead of signal bar i get the Y antenna and little scrolling dots where the bars should b
 
hey so where you able to flash that thing? we really gotta start getting to this that fones cherry! and i got an olRABchool slyder from like 3 years back which i hate, texting on its horrible, if you were able to get it going on the slice please post, i wanted to buy one from PHELONIUS but no response yet has anyoen else tried gettin a hold of him or can anyone else do it for me cause from what amoamare said about the software its hard.... hey what about inpulse razors are those easier??? because the price is only 100... although honestly the slice is just so much nicer

fast busy means it gives you a busy signal type sound that is faster than normal. the phone will do that if the switch is rejecting your min.

what does 611 give you?
 
Hi, I am trying to cricketize a verizon xv6600. Originally updated the prl with prl 1039, then 1040. No luck. Phone cannot connect to any service. No busy sig or anything. Found a hofo post for cricket roaming EVDO prl. Update to roaming prl and got a good *611 & *228. Both say "welcome to cricket"! activated phone. I can receive and make calls on the phone. I can also text. Here is the problem. the otasp always fail. every time. I thought that it may be the NAM, but I cannot get to that screen. ##778 gets me to the MSL, but I cannot find the NAM. Finally, I tried to connect the phone to QPST with a serial data cable. QPST does not see a phone. Any help would be apreciated. :buddies:
 
Look I've been searching, and there is not a thing here or anywhere on the board that really addreses my question. This is far from my first phone that I have played with, but this one actually has me asking questions. I have looked everywhere, if I missed it, my bad. Trust me, I would not be asking if I could find it! Hope I did not f up your day.
