to a cop about a permit? Please someone help me with this, I really don't want to go to jail. I got stopped 2 days ago for illegal tints in NJ but I told the cop that I had a special permit to have them because i have sensitive eyes. (yes, it was a lie, i dont really have a permit). So the cop thought i was lying and got mad and said now I am making the court appearance required and if you don't have that permit then your getting arrested. Now I know this was extremely stupid of me and I would never think about doing it again. What do I do now? I can either go to the eye doctor and actually get one and bring it to court or I could just go to court and tell them i plead guilty and just want to pay the fine. But then im scared they might say well you lied to a police officer. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP, I AM SCARED!!!!
