I got a new tattoo on my foot yesterday how do I go about protecting it at work?

I got a new tattoo done yesterday on the top of my foot. My job involves spraying down floors with hoses and alot of other cleaning with hoses - which usually involves getting quite wet. How do I go about protecting my tattoo. Am I right to wear my usual boots? should I put something on my tattoo?
