i got a 1968 lincoln continental i tryng to start the car bt i dont get any fire...

...from the spark plugs w c i do? i try many thing i got a hot wire from the battery to the distribuitor to get spark bt nothing happen help some1
 
Where does the juice stop?

Get a test light and check to see if you have juice to the distributor. If not you have a short you will need to check the wire for breaks. This can take a while but not really any way around it. If you do check to see if you have juice to the coil. If you do not have juice at to the coil again check for a short.
if you have juice to the coil and not at the plugs it could be a bad connection somewhere bad plug wires, bad plugs, or a bad coil.
