I followed the guide,but MMS still won't work

I got a Sprint Mogul and everything works except the MMS. I can not send or receive a picture. It is trying to download but it never leaves 0%...then a message pops up and says, unable to download message...

What have I done wrong? I have the lastest To0's v.3 rom.
 
You have to either press the Hard envelope button on the top left before you download the messages or if you have Home plugin installed you would click the envelope button on the left.

I recommend setting your MMS retrieval mode to manual, then whenever you receive a message, use either your envelope button or the left soft key on the Today screen to launch messaging and retrieve it. However, so long as you use either the envelope button or the left soft key on the Today screen to enter messaging, you should even be okay leaving it at automatic retrieval settings."
 
I put the mode to manual...so when I press download message...its waits a few seconRAB then says,

"Unable to receive your messages. Your message notification wil remain in the Inbox."

I can not send a photo either. I think I got my setting wrong somewhere. :crying:
 
Check the registry for the MMS header string and also if DefaultConnectionSettings exist. Search the PDA subforum for these terms if you don't know what I'm talking about.
 
Push the envelope button before doing your manual senRAB or receives. For real, push the button and it'll probably fix the problem. You really do need to push that button.

And if that doesn't fix it, go into the server settings and make sure you're set to WAP 2.0 and not 1.2. If it is 2.0, do not hit "OK," hit "Cancel" instead. If it is set to 1.2, search my ROM thread for how to fix it.
 
I searched thru the tread and I fix it. Here's what i found:




Thank everyone for there help. I got my downloaded message but I sent one to another phone and haven't received it on that phone yet. May it will take awhile.
