I'm clean as a whistle 1's on every part of my profile, nothing wrong with me. I got a 92 on my ASVAB. I plan on doing the Delayed Entry Program, so I would ship off after I graduated from FSU this time next year. The thing is I still have to get a Moral Waiver for a DUI two and a half years ago. My recruiter said they are still giving them out. But I wanted to know if it would be better to submit my waiver application after October (the fiscal year) because the Army is so full (30,000 more kids than needed) as of right now? I hear that you cannot reapply for a moral waiver if it gets turned down. What should I do?

p.s. I'm going 11X (hopefully 11B if I get in) in the Army if that means anything.....
 
well you can't be in DEP for more than a year. so you might as well wait.

you know what really happens in a case like this... your recruiter knows you are going to join. so he keeps you in his pocket till a few months down the line. when he can't make his quota for that month. then he all of a sudden calls you up and says "why don't you join now"

you will get the waiver. as long as you paid your fine and did your time. and they are always taking 11B's. you might have to wait a month or 2 for an empty school slot, but they are always taking 11B's
