I filed a harassment case against another manager and was fired the next day!?

I was denied my unemployment benefits due to the company reporting "poor job performance" to EDD. I know I can appeal the case, but what can I do to over turn the decision in the appellant court hearing? Can anyone suggest anything? It seems like its their word against mine!

You need a lawyer. And one that won't rip you off. Lawyers are unregulated and charge whatever they want, so get a reference from someone that used a lawyer that they were satisfied with.
