I figured out what's wrong with my life.

I have finally figured out what is wrong with my life by watching the movie "Harold & Kumar go to White Castle".

Pretty much, I am the asian guy (Harold) who works his ass off and has nothing to show for it. I have my wants and desires and I have yet to fulfill them and recieve then sense of getting exactly what you want. The guy goes around and does other peoples work. He lets people take advantage of him and he does nothing about it. Finally, he gets fed up with it and he makes sure that he gets what he wants. That is what I am after. I want to go out and spend my hard earned cash on something nice and entertaining. I want to practice for my paintball matches and take first place. I want to want a girl and I want to have her be mine. And the only way I know how to get these things done, is to just take them. I'm tired of playing by the rules. Fuck it, I make my own now.

Also, the reason why I say this movie helps, is because it literally outlines my life. I have the stoner friend who doesn't want to get a job and lives off of evreyone else that I hang out with. I have the annoying co-workers. And, I'm just to damn nice to the general dumb fuck. However, one thing, I do not toke up.
By the way, if you haven't seen that movie, you should.

You are not like Harold if you don't toke up man. It's part and parcel. You should try it, it may give you some perspective. If you don't like it, then you can stop.

Wow, yeah, and when he's sitting in jail because he and his stoner buddies do something stupid while high and get caught and charged with possession... etc (because he just sounds like the guy who has the crap luck to try something once and get busted), he'll feel so much better.

Remind me to take you off my list of potential babysitters, J.

Hey hun, there are plenty of studies showing that 1/3 of American adults are regular pot smokers and more than half of them have tried it. All in all I don't think there's 175 million people in jail. The war on drugs is over, it's just the fat lady wont sing because the govt is making too much money busting people.

In the end of the movie, Harold learned the only way to get what you want is to go for it. Kumar learned that wasting your talent is a bad thing, and that everyone has to grow up sometime.

All three are valuable lessons. And, yes, along the way, it is a funny as (battle) shit movie.

Back on topic...

You just gotta stick up for yourself dude. Not saying you should, or anyone else for that matter, outline your life over some flick. Do what you believe should be done, just don't bend over for anyone.

One of my favorite movie quotes has to go to Tony Montana...

"All I got in this world is my balls and my word, and I don't break 'em for no one."

saw that movie 1 time SHIT n e how ppl who say oh stand up for ur self dont be a pussy r most likely pussies themselves just dont take shit n if u hav to so somfin 4 somone sabotage it thats wat i do:D

I had a friend sabatoge a relationship I had with a girl one time and it sucked. He turned many people against me;however, because that happened to me and I know how it feels, I will never sabotage somebody elses life. the golden rule, I believe, goes "Do on to others as you would have them do on to you." I don't feel like stirring shit up anyway.

and for the other guy. I'm going to do what I want anyway. The principles that belie the notion are of my morals. I am still going to do what is right but I am not going to go out of my way to help someone who doesn't appreciate it or help someone just because they say so. I'm not going to lay down and let someone borrow or take from me the things I love.

harold and kumar is one of the best movies i have ever seen. its relaly funny, btw just be yourself and dont listne to other people.:gun:
