I feel sorry for European PS3 fans.

Its hard enough waiting till 8th December for the Wii.

But to wait until March 07 is a fucking joke Its such a huge reason to just buy a Wii. Sony is definetely missing out in Europe.

How many people have decided to just go for a Wii?
 
The european launch is going to have so many more quality games available than what we got, I think it's worth it. Not to mention those consoles will probably be less problematic.
 
i've seen some of the units on uk.ebay go for like 850 euros.... that's like.. 1600+. maybe people who are complaining about the drop in ebay prices are selling their ps3s in the wrong place?
 
850 euros is little over $1100.

And your not actually allowed to sell them on any of the european ebays (.co.uk/.fr etc.). They are removed pretty quickly. I'm going to first try there to sell mine, if it gets removed then I will look for somewere else.

Anyone know if, on ebay, they delete/ban your account for breaking that sort of rule?
 
Sony has made it illegal to import a PS3 to Europe though... Ebay has been told to take any imported PS3 auctions off the site lol

If you arent doing anything "illegal", you have to wait until March 07.
 
PS2 and PSX games won't work on different region systems.
Also, Blu-Ray and DVD movies work on different region systems.
A lot of PS3 games will probably be region free, but it's up to the developer so there's no guarantee.
 
oh whoops. my bad.... it was pounds not euros. good call on that one.

serious on the importing thing being illegal? ive seen some people from the us put up auctions on the uk ebay site still...

i dont know, possibly i will get a wii
but there's also a chance to get a xbox 360

don't know yet
maybe ill find both of them used online

but in no way i am gonna buy a ps3
