I feel so dirty when cooking, especially greasy or juicy foods. Why?

I feel like if I cooked chicken on the stovetop that the juice or grease is spraying everywhere including on me and on the floor. I borderline feel like I have to clean the whole kitchen and shower after. It's getting to be like this with other foods as well. I always feel dirty when dealing with food. The only thing that helps is showering everytime after I eat. What's the deal?

That's a part of cooking. Part of it is the heat and exposure to all the things, frying, grilling, boiling, etc. I am very clean about everything in the kitchen but there is really only so much you can do. It's just the hazzards of the job if you will. I love to cook but the things I hate about cooking is that even as clean as I keep things and myself, the smells of the food stay on my clothes and hair, you sweat more so you feel kinda muggy at times and for me, the biggest gripe is my hair. My hair is not damaged or dry. But as soon as the temperatures change like going outside or when I'm cooking, my hair frizzes up to hard crisp like it's straw. That makes me feel like I need another shower just to get that feeling off me.
