I feel so bad for my GSD puppy...gagging?

he is about 9-10 weeks old and is seeing a vet tomorrow about maybe having worms...but as of today and part of yesterday he has been acting like he needs to throw up. He just keeps trying too. My vet said he could wait till tomorrow because he is still drinking water and sorta eating...but I just feel so bad for him...and I wish I knew what was wrong with him...any ideas?
 
it may sound stupid but pick him up and soothe him... try burping him.... hope this hlps
