I feel like I'm falling apart.

LOL geht!

Brion, that sucks. My knees aren't the best...they crackle every time I get up from a crouched position. My neck is always stiff...I usually crack it at least a couple times a day. My back is sore fairly often, but usually easily liveable the last while since I started this tech-type job.

Hope your aches heal up quick, Brion!

If it's any consolation, BRi...

I didn't run yesterday. I didn't feel the urge to further eradicate my very much needed lower extremity by subjecting it to yet another beating via supporting 195 pounds of solid Fuct. I did nothing yesterday! Today I feel like 195 pounds of mustard jell-o.

Fear not, brudda. Today is a new day. Today my extreme workout will not be missed. Today we will feel two solid hours of pure PAIN!

...or until I start to cry.

FTW!!

A couple years ago, I slipped getting out of the shower, and landed with all my weight squarely on my left kneecap. That knee hasn't been quite right since, especially when I kneel down. I've got bad ankles that make clicking sensations when I walk. My back hurts fairly frequently now, and I think I've got a touch of carpal tunnel syndrome.

Getting old is for the birds. But it beats the alternative.

I don't have to work out. Having good abs and ass and being perpetually 145 lbs is a good tradeoff for not having bulky pecks and biceps, I think.

God's way of saying "Yo, bro, sorry I gave you a tumor in your ear and you're half deaf. How about I give you the ability to eat 1500 calories worth of pringles and crisco and not gain weight? How's that sound?"

Back on subject, my thumb joints are fucked up. Commercial fishing fubared them bigtime. They don't work like they used to and if I use them too much they get weak. Can't draw well anymore because of it either.

Day 9: The pain... It hurts me so. I've given teh leg a break for now.*

Eh... I regularly exersize* because I want to. Not because I think I need to.

You are obviously a twenty-something. When you are on the wrong side of thirty and your metabolism shifts into a lower gear, which it will, we'll see then what Gawd has to say. Fat days and chubby nights be on the horizon, boy. Enjoy the Crisco.

Yup, I agree with you there. I see people in my profession that are in operations and they sure do let themselves go once they leave the field.

I keep telling myself I should work out, but as long as I do it for 12 hours a day anyway, what's the point? If I get to a position at work where I don't do much physical labor then I'll supplement it with time on the treadmill. Until then my job is my exercise.
