How do I even know if I have any insurance violations, I never turned my tags in after like 3 years I moved out of state, the car broke down after I had it for a few months and I couldn't afford to fix it, so I sold it to the guy who was going to fix it for me for parts, he knew someone that needed that transmission and it was just good for lots of parts I guess. Will I have a problem trying to get another car, I haven't owned one since then. I would just like to clear up any issues before hand, I don't even still have the bill of sale or anything, but I bet I could find the guy I sold it to, I knew him through some people.
I failed to turn in my tags after 3 years but I sold the car. Do I still owe?
