i failed the earth science regents, but i have a chance to retake it, what will happen

if i don't retake it? i found out i failed the earth science regents today, and they said i can retake it in august but i have VERY BIG PLANS!!! on the day i'm suppose to retake it, but what will happen if i don't take it can i take it at another time or is that my only chance?

Don't let this get you down...you still are a smart person!
Basically, it's your only chance to take it. I mean, you can take it in January-but the information will still be fresh in your mind by August.
Do whatever works for you-have fun with your BIG PLANS!
