i'm not really sure yet dg, which is why it's scary. i find out tuesday. i'm hoping i'm just a carrier, but if i HAVE it...that will blow.

shit i hope maybe they just made a mistake and its an allergic reaction to the serum or something. that would be nice

Freaking out won't help, especially since there is good chance that it is nothing to worry about. Btw, isn't there supposed to be a (small) reaction to the injection?
 
I know a woman on another site who's had issues with TB tests. If you want, I'll PM you the site or her myspace page. Let her know you're a friend of PiercedPsycho and ask her about TB, and she should give a shitload of info. Also, I have a friend who's training to be a doctor on this same other site, so you could ask him for some advice as well.

welp, you are supposed to have a small reaction to the injection site, but my swelling was the minimum requirement that qualified for being exposed. we'll see. the bump is much less stiff today than it was all week, which is awesome cause that little bugger hurt. we'll see tuesday.

and if my grammar was totally messed up, im totally hungover and i feel like im about to be sick. so leave me alone. :mfinger: :p
 
Sorry I don't have much to add, but I'm sorry about your +test. That must be scary, but like you said, you were exposed to it, but it does not mean it's active. I really hope you are not active. That would seriously suck!!!

I understand that you're upset about this marginal reaction to the skin test. I know it's easy for all of us to say, but don't freak-out! As you said, you're still within the gray area of results. They'll shoot an x-ray and probably take an AFB culture. I'm assuming you had this test because of your trip to m
 
no i had to take it because i am going to be student teaching in the spring. i NEVER thought i would say this, but luckily i have enough homework to keep my mind off of it for now =/
