I am going into the 11th grade and recently got my school schedule in the mail and couldn't believe I still had English 10 Adv as one of my classes. I did indeed fail the class, but I thought I would go into English 11 since I passed my Regents test with a 96. Obviously not.
Since you are placed in an English by grade, is there any possible way that I will be able to take English 12 as a Senior. Only completing up to English 11 on a College Resume would KILL me. What are my options?
Can I take a full course of English 11 in summer school this coming year?
And since I did ace my exam, but still didn't pass the class, will I have to retake them?
Or is there any way that I could drop another class and fill it with English 11 and just take both?
OR is it possible that I will have leeway since I aced my exam and be able to complete English 10 in a half of the year, then English 11 in the other half, plus summer school.
